Hi West operates EDF's purpose built campus accommodation sites for the teams working on the construction of the EDF Energy Hinkley Point C project near Bridgwater, Somerset.
The two campuses, Hinkley and Sedgemoor, are easily accessible from the HPC construction site and provide a welcoming base and extensive facilities for all guests. Sedgemoor, located a 10 minute walk from Bridgwater town centre, offers 986 bedrooms. Hinkley Campus, located adjacent to the Hinkley Point C construction site, has 510 bedrooms.
Designed with the workforce in mind, all of the modern bedrooms are soundproofed and have black out curtains, as we believe that a good night’s sleep is essential for a good day’s work. With extensive storage, a work area, safe, kettle, TV and free wifi, guests can relax in comfort whilst having access to a wide range of facilities during their stay.
Guest rooms are all located in low-rise buildings within close proximity to the main campus building which houses reception, bars, restaurants, events spaces and a well equipped gym.
Entertainment facilities including darts, pool tables and a selection of games machines can be found in these areas as well as televisions showing live sporting events. There is also an outdoor gym, multi-use games pitches, outdoor games, laundry facilities and extensive parking at each site.
With no minimum stay restrictions, guests can book their accommodation to suit their needs via the guest portal.
