Tim drives the business’ overall strategic development in line with Hi West’s vision to go above and beyond traditional hospitality management, putting people and positive experiences at the heart of our accommodation solutions. Having worked in operations and facilities management for over 30 years, he is also passionate about driving value and innovation, setting new standards and raising expectations. In his downtime, he is an avid cyclist.
Kevin has an extensive background as a hotelier and specialises in accounting, auditing, and financial management. In his previous roles he was Operations Director at EIS and owner of Castle Management Ltd, a hotel and business management consultancy. Now Chairman of Hi West, Kevin works closely with the leadership team to guide the company’s strategic path. Despite appearances, hospitality isn’t Kevin’s only passion; his two inexhaustible Sprocker Spaniels, his wife and family keep him happily occupied.
Operations Director and former ultra-marathon runner Duncan is responsible for Hi West’s strategic and operational plans. He has a vast background and during his career has developed successful hotels and saved failing resorts in almost every corner of the globe. At Hi West, Duncan spearheads our values-driven organisational culture to help support our objectives and business strategy while maintaining innovation at every turn. Keeping himself busy is a priority – Duncan and his wife Jo, also operate a period B&B in the historic market town of Chipping Sodbury.
Born and bred in Somerset, Mark is an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is responsible for Hi West’s performance and compliance with operating and industry standards and applicable legislation. Mark believes in business solutions that provide positive outcomes to all stakeholders and makes sure that we operate in alignment with our strategic mission and values. Outside of Hi West, he is a keen adventure sportsman who spends much of his spare time chasing his young son.
Robbie sets our strategic financial vision, working closely with Hi West’s board and key external advisors in the areas of audit, governmental reporting, tax, treasury, and risk management. He is a valuable asset to the team who has the ability to spot patterns of behaviour in clients that enable him to understand their motivations. Away from crunching data, Robbie enjoys spending time with his family, holidaying in Greece and finding peace and quiet listening to sport on his ride-on-lawnmower.
Paul is driven by working with great people to deliver great projects. With over 30 year’s experience he is an expert in the successful project management and delivery of hospitality projects across the UK. Joining Hi West in 2018 he led the transition towards the successful opening of the campus accommodation for the teams working on the construction of the EDF Hinkley Point C project. More recently, in his move to Project Director at Hi West, he is responsible for the delivery and development of the firm’s hotel investments, using his experience to maximise potential and improve performance from cost savings to management. In his spare time Paul enjoys the outdoors and cycling, putting his efforts towards raising money for charity.
